Course Description
This course is a comprehensive guide to mixing and mastering audio using any digital audio workstation (DAW). You will learn how to use various tools and processors to shape and enhance the sound of your tracks or submixes, and how to finalise and deliver your mixes in different formats and platforms.
Goals
The goal of this course is to teach you the skills and techniques of mixing and mastering audio using any DAW.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Use various types of EQ and dynamics processors to shape the sounds of individual tracks or submixes, and use them creatively and musically.
- Use DAW busses and routing to create parallel processing chains, sidechain effects, submixes, aux sends and returns, master fader tracks, subgroups, stems, and surround mixes.
- Use an external mastering plugin or processor such as iZotope Ozone 9 or higher to apply EQ, limiting, compression, stereo imaging, exciters, tape saturation, dithering, and other types of processing to your mixes.
Course Duration
a) 1 hours, 4 times monthly, or
b) 2 hours, 4 times monthly.

Lessons will be carried out online via Discord. The arrangement of dates and time will be based on mutual consensus.
Time: Night time (MYT) 8pm onwards.
